There are a wealth of social, cultural and non-profit organizations in Chiang Mai that enrich and improve the lives of both the expat and local community. Chiang Mai Expats Club (CEC) is proud to be sponsored by several well-known, active community-service organizations. As such, CEC helps these organizations publicize their events and activities to the members of CEC. Sponsors are responsible for the legality of the products, services and activities they provide. CEC assumes no responsibility for any activities of the sponsors, nor are the sponsors acting on behalf of CEC.
BABSEACLE FOUNDATION (BABSEACLEF) is an access to justice, legal education, locally registered, not for profit organization which collaborates in the development of justice education and access to justice initiatives. These programs assist in providing access to justice services to persons throughout Asia, including Expats, while simultaneously fostering generations of pro bono minded champions. It does so, in large part, through the support and services of local, regional and international volunteers and Expats. It does this as well through the organizing of a number of access to justice community participatory events in the Chiang Mai area including the Annual Asia Access to Week and the Trio for Justice which includes the Asia Justice Marathon and the Asia Access to Justice Public Interest Fair.
