The Chiangmai Expats Club - Expats helping Expats

Our Mission

The Chiangmai Expats Club is about expats helping others expand friendships and improve their quality of life. As expats, we are living in a foreign county, and the language of this country is by no means an easy language to master, as it is quite different from our native tongues. The laws of our new country are new to us as are many of this wonderful Kingdom’s customs.

It is the hope of the Chiangmai Expats Club to help all expats learn the Thai language, the new laws and the new customs. The Chiangmai Expats Club will reach out to the Thai Community (which has so graciously and generously given to the expat community) to seek those Thais with specific expertise, who will help expats transition into their new lives in Thailand.

We will seek the assistance of immigration officials, law enforcement officials, medical providers, insurance providers, educators, realtors, building contractors, home decorators, etc., to make this transition as smooth as possible. We will also look to the Thai community to provide the expat community with lists of cultural events that will help expats learn and understand more about the beautiful Thai culture.

Our aim is to be a credit to the Thai community, not a burden.
