Outside Group Activities (OGA)
The Outside Group Activities are not a part of CEC and CEC has no responsibility for what and how the individuals decide to do during their meeting. CEC's only purpose is to offer the opportunity for people with a common interest to meet and explore their interest. All groups are self governing and the responsibility of those that choose to participate in the individual group. CEC serves as a means for people with common interest to meet at a time other than the CEC meeting.
The Outside Group Activities operate independent from CEC without control or administration from CEC. The Group Activities are independent of CEC and are self governing by the individual members of the group. All members of the Group are not necessarily members of CEC. If there are questions about the Group's activities or conflicts within the Group, it will be the responsibility of the group to resolve this, not CEC. CEC will help initiate new Outside Group Activities and encourage people to attend.
The purpose of this web page is to have a short description of every group. Announcements of OGA events will be on the Message board and/or on the Events page and/or on the Calendar.

Chiang Mai Photographic Group, the coordinator is Mike See.
The CMPG meet on Wednesdays at 7.00pm every fortnight in Tuskers Bar and all those with an interest in photography, be it film or digital are warmly invited.
The Chiang Mai Photographic Group aims to further all aspects of the picture taking abilities of its members through the sharing of skills and mutual support in an informal, inclusive and enjoyable atmosphere.
CMPG is run solely for the benefit of its members and a fee of 40bht per person is collected at each meeting to help defray expenses. Meetings last two hours after which we encourage you to stay for a while and chat with other members over a drink in the bar. We can't cover everything in the formal bit and this is a good time to explore interests you share with other photographers.
