Chiang Mai Christian Religious Services

Chiang Mai Community Church is an interdenominational English-speaking Protestant church which meets on Sunday evenings at 4:30 pm. There is a Sunday School program available for children during the adult worship service as well as nursery for children under 3. The church meets at 10 Charoenrat Road, about 100 meters north of the Nawarat Bridge on the east side of the river. This is just around the corner from Raintree Resource Center. CMCC meets on the property of Chiang Mai 1st Church.

In addition to weekly services, CMCC offers youth activities, youth and adult Bible studies and a variety of opportunities for service to people in the Chiang Mai community. Chiang Mai Christian Fellowship is an international, English speaking Fellowship, contemporary worship style. It is Elder led and body affirmed. The service generally consists of about 45 minutes of worship time and 30-40 minutes preaching. Communion is observed every week. Children are included in the time of worship and leave for a children’s program during the sermon. The church meets at 10:00 am on Sundays at the Campus Crusade facility just off Maejo Rd. Enter the soi by Walls Ice Cream and go back 1.5 km. For more info/directions call Tim 01-952-2205 or write tim@ccfth.org. Nursery and Sunday School classes are available during the service. There are numerous Bible studies, Home Fellowship Groups, and Youth groups during the week.


The Gathering meets each Sunday morning 10:30 in the Bon Phun Tone Room on the 5th floor of the Lotus Pang Suan Kaew Hotel at 99/4 Huay Kaew Road (behind Kad Suan Kaew Central Mall).


House of Praise International Church meets at 9 am on Sundays at their property on Santisuk Road, Rincome, right behind Chiangmai Grandview Hotel. For more information, call 053-212-904 during office hours.


If you would like to attend a Thai church with English translation provided, visit The Acts Church of Chiangmai. They meet at the Chinese Society Building (behind Computer Plaza). Sunday service at 9.30 am to noon. Telephone: 053-404-046.


Lanna International Church has a bilingual Service in Thai - English from 10:30 am to 12 noon followed by lunch fellowship.

We will be starting mid-week English service in April 2007, led by Pastor Alan Parker.

Directions: 1) from Chiangmai-Lamphun Rd. proceed 1 km. on the main road (Thanon Rathutit) toward the Juniper Tree. Continue to follow the road along the Gymkhana golf course. Just after you turn right, look for our radio tower and new building across from the golf course. -OR- 2) From the Chiang Mai train station travel south on Thanon Rot Fai that runs alongside the railway line (tracks will be on your left). After ½ kilometer the road bends to the right. Go straight approx. ½ kilometer and turn left at the three-way intersection across from the temple (just before you reach the golf course). Just after you turn you will see the church on the left.

Seven Fountains Roman Catholic Church offers an English language mass every Sunday at 9:30 am Seven Fountains is located at 97 Huay Kaew Road, on the north side of the street just a short distance past Cholpratarn Road (the canal road) and not as far west as Chiang Mai University. For information call 053-211-076.

Seven Fountains is also a retreat center open to people of all denominations who might like to search for God in prayer and silence. A retreat is a time of quiet spent between you and God during which priests are available for individual spiritual direction. Individuals or groups can make a retreat for just one day or a few.
